converting a four bedroom layout into a spacious two bedroom home, this design eliminates redundant walls to create a generous, interconnected communal zone where kitchen, dining, and living areas flow seamlessly.
realizing this open concept required significant technical ingenuity, including shifting plumbing infrastructure nearly seven meters. rather than seeing immovable columns as constraints, a curved birch plywood wall softens the circulation path, guiding users toward private quarters that feature a Japanese onsen inspired master bath.
the textured palette of mahogany stained plywood, beige tiles, and ivory limewash pairs with soft lighting, while custom steel elements inject a sleek, contemporary edge.
