kanso is a modern minimalist home with a distinct Japanese influence, located in Telok Blangah, Singapore. the client, a connoisseur of Japanese furniture, envisioned a space blending form and function. Designed as a blank canvas, the entry greets visitors with a serene living and dining area.
a standout feature is the curved dining wall, reshaped from
a traditional right angle to accommodate a round table and foster intimacy.
the kitchen revolves around warm wood tones and off white hues, evoking a nostalgic aesthetic. this design continues into the bathroom, where neutral tones and stone textures evoke
a spa like calm for the residents.
