kuro (2024) 1100sqft

in contrast to the original layout, the kitchen wall was removed to expand the common area and introduce a central island that seamlessly connects the living spaces.

to achieve an intimate, monochromatic aesthetic, a thoughtful mix of materials with contrasting tactile qualities adds depth and texture to the design. every material was carefully chosen to maintain harmony and balance.

the client also dedicated a room for plants, inspiring a bespoke wall feature specifically designed to display the greenery. throughout the home, consistent flooring and wall finishes help create a cohesive, unified design, enhancing the overall sense of flow and continuity from one space to the next.
